After years in development, School of Magic: Deck & Slash finally has a release date. The game will enter Early Access on November 10th, 2025 on Steam.

School of Magic combines the action-packed combat of Diablo with the strategic depth of Slay the Spire. It is a deckbuilding action RPG where every spell you collect becomes part of a powerful, evolving build. You fight, explore, and experiment with countless spell combinations to create your own playstyle.

Diablo Meets Slay the Spire

School of Magic blends real-time hack and slash gameplay with card-based progression. Each spell is a physical ability you cast directly in battle. Build your deck like a strategy game, but play it with the intensity and freedom of an action RPG.

A Unique Skill Tree System

Every run, your deck evolves through a dynamic skill tree that connects spells and upgrades in new ways. Choosing one spell can remove others, level up the rest, and reveal new random options. This creates a constant balance between risk and reward, where every decision shapes your long-term build.

Progress Beyond Each Run

Between runs, you uncover new cards, learn more about the world, and expand your options for the next attempt. Even failure brings progress, encouraging experimentation and discovery.

Early Access and Future Plans

The Early Access version already includes multiple worlds, schools of magic, enemies, and bosses. Upcoming updates will expand the game with more worlds, spells, features, and controller support.
